I have Android 10 and have Honor 10lite. Just purchased Versa 2, new to fitbit as this is my first device. I've noticed that often my notifications suddenly get disabled and it tells me a restart of my phone is required. I do that and still the error persists. I turn Bluetooth off and on, doesn't fix it. Occasionally the connection drops but more so it happens when I switch off my Bluetooth. In theory, soon as Bluetooth is back on notification should enable automatically. It doesn't. There is no easy fix and the only sure way to get it back is delete cache and data. Apps>Fitbit>Storage> Delete cache and data. It enables the notifications but I have to sign into fitbit app again and reset it my notifications settings but in doing so so, it deletes my Alex's data and app. I've understood there is issue with fitbit app and Huawei/Honor devices.
Is there a better fix or update coming to solve this

Hi @V6761, welcome to the Community Forums.
I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.
Looking forward to your reply.

The error began appearing about an hr after I switched Bluetooth off, same day I got the watch. It said 'Notification services not running. Please restart your phone'. I thought after turning Bluetooth back on the notifications would automatically be enabled, but it was and the error persisted. I restarted the phone several times to no avail. Then I found a site which gave me steps which consisted off deleting cache and data. It is then signs me out of the app, I sign back in and the notification are enabled again. But it's a long way winded processing because it deletes storage data which basically gets rid of the weather app as well as Alexa. Basically I can never turn off Bluetooth, but yesterday I noticed the error appeared and Bluetooth was still on. In theory, if I wanted to turn off Bluetooth for the bit to save battery, it should automatically enable the second I switch it back on and it doesn't. And going through those steps is hassle everytime. I'm aware that turning Bluetooth turns off the syncing process aswell as notifications. But really turning it on should enable it rather then everything's gets disabled and you have to go through the lenthgy process. It now started to happened, where notification drops even when everything turned on.
Have done those steps.
