I have been using my Versa 2 for nearly a year and now suddenly the notifications are no longer working as it just says 'notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable the notifications on your tracker'.
I have done everything a could to get it working, uninstalled the app, restarted my Versa 2, reconnected my Versa 2 as a new tracker and it sometimes works for a little while but then just stops.
The phone I am using is the Huawei P20
Thanks

- On your phone, open the Settings app > Apps and notifications > Apps, give all the permissions to the app
- Tap Fitbit > Battery > Launch (manages if the app is running in the background) - tap the 3 dots at the top right corner - Manage manually (here is the list of all the apps on the phone) - on the Fitbit app icon, check the 3 boxes Manage automatically, Secondary launch, and Run in background.
- Reboot your Huawei P20 and restart your Fitbit Versa 2.
Hope this helps.
