Received Versa 2 as Christmas gift 2019. After finding it could not be added to account with my Ionic, I set it aside in frustration. For several months now I have tried to re-address the device and cannot get anything on its screen but the logo. It has just one button and pressing it accomplishes nothing, in any amounts of succession. It is fully charged but isn't recognized by the computer it's plugged into. Obviously it won't pair to my phone app either. I'm ready to throw it in trash and never return to Fitbit. What a waste of a few hundred dollars.

Have you tried restart?
Press and hold the button* for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button.
i.e. don't just press the button; hold it in until you see the Fitbit logo - about 10 seconds.
