Versa 2 only works on one wrist

So from the time I got my Versa 2 (maybe a month ago) I've worn it on my left wrist. The other night at work I noticed I had some sort of skin reaction on one spot so I took it off, cleaned it, and put it on my other wrist to see if anything happened. Well after that it stopped working correctly! It wasn't tracking my sleep or would track weird incorrect times. My heart rate never seemed accurate. And though it seemed to be getting my steps it wasn't counting the movement correctly. One day I had over 10k steps but it said I only moved 3 hours that day. Very very wrong. I just unpaired/repaired everything and then decided to just try my left wrist again - bam. Heart rate is accurate. It's too soon to tell if everything else is working obviously but I find this odd. I've worn other Fitbit products on my right hand. Until recently I wore an apple watch on my right hand and never had an issue before.

@Ging1 Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with your Versa 2. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried.

Since you mentioned that you experienced skin reaction, please confirm you're following these Wear and Care tips. Regarding your watch not tracking sleep, please make sure you're wearing it correctly at night, not too tight or too loose, check this article: What should I know about sleep stages?

You may want to check these articles to learn more information about: What's my Fitbit hourly activity goal? and How accurate are Fitbit devices? Could you confirm that your Versa 2 is tracking all your information properly?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Did you ever figure this out, Ging1? I'm having the same issues. Did all the obvious troubleshooting steps as well. I'd love to hear from other fitbit owners. It's so bizarre, everything works perfect on my left wrist but it's as if it's not sitting correctly on my right since it won't pick up my heart rate consistently (there are gaps in the graph, I've never had that on my left wrist) and it didn't track my sleep. I don't get it. 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

Nope. Never did. Just learned I had to keep it on the one wrist.

Lol, I had a feeling that would be the answer!  Thanks for your response! Living on the left wrist it is! I think I'll try new breathable bands to fix the rash issue. Sigh.
