Good evening. I just got a versa 2 from my dad that he no longer uses. I charged it up and while it’s plugged into the charger I was able to do the set up. My issue is once I take it off the charger after a few seconds ir will go from showing me the time of day on the screen to going back and then changing to the blue Fitbit logo. If I plug it back onto the charger it reverts back to operating normal. I have no idea what to do. I’ve tried to reset it, I’ve tried shutting it down. Nothing seems to fix it

Hello there, @Willievelez2222. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

If the steps provided by @Guy_ don't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Also, since your Versa 2 is only working while connected to the charger and it's showing the Fitbit logo, please attempt the following steps:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
  • Once your Versa 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

Hi @Willievelez2222  - while on the charger try changing to another clock face then remove from charging.

It it still continues to reboot there may have been a fault with the watch previously.

Even so you can try a factory reset from the watch Settings About menu while on charge.

Be warned the process can destroy the watch completely, and once the process is started (you have tapped it) wait at least 5 minutes, till it restarts.

Then set up the watch again as for a new watch and replace.

It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks or apps and any special watch or app settings you use before the reset.
