Versa 2 phone call notifications issue

Hi, I am using my versa 2 with pixel 2xl. I have observed that some times I get phone call notifications i.e (Versa 2 vibrating) while some times I don't and just get a missed call notification.this happens with the same contact also many times..

While going through the forum and other places, I was able to find two possible reasons: 

1) sync issue with the phone 

2) time mismatch between Versa 2 and the phone which gets mismatched when the phone is not in sync.

Also, is it possible to get WhatsApp call notifications similar to phone call notifications in Versa 2.

Any help is much appreciated. Tried reinstalling the app and restart the phone..

Do you experience difficulties with text notifications? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.

I experienced this problem after I bought versa 2 recently. I don't have any difficulty with text notifications..the problem is with phone call notifications. There was some update pending which had resolved the issue but today again am not receiving any phone call notifications. 

I don't know why it is happening. I tried the steps mentioned as earlier by you but doesn't seem to overcome the problem..let me know if there is anything that can be the cause of this and how to get the phone call notifications back..
