My versa 2 had very low battery last night, under 10%, so I put it in its cradle and went to bed. In the morning it showed that it was still charging but was only at 70% so I left it on and went to work. Got home from work and immediately received an app notification that my versa 2 battery is low. Went to check and it's still in the cradle but now at 23% and not charging. It seems to never get to 100% or even 90 and then rapidly drops if I don't take it off right away. Anyone else have a similar experience?

@maslman, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since it won't complete a full charge and the battery drains fast.
I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours. We don't recommend to charge the Fitbit devices for more than 3 hours since the battery may get overcharged and this way, the battery may get damaged.
Finally, monitor your Versa 2 for the next 24 hours and see for how long the battery stays charged.
Keep me posted.

If I watch it and take it off at the right time then everything is fine. It was always fine after being taken off, it just had the strange behavior of discharging when on the charger for too long. I'll try to avoid that going forward and everything should be set,

@maslman, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I appreciate the details of the behavior that your Versa experiences when on the charger for too long.
We recommend to have the watch charging no more than 3 hours since the battery may get overheated. Please keep monitoring this behavior and let me know how it goes.
See you around.
