Versa 2 recording sleep when awake

My versa 2 has started recording sleep anytime I take my watch off for a couple hours during  the day.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for the information provided.

 

Since sleep tracking is based on your heart-rate, when not wearing your Watch please place it upside down with the green lights pointing towards the ceiling.

 

As an alternative, you can turn off the heart-rate or the Watch itself. For instructions on how to navigate your Fitbit device, please visit this article.
