Versa 2 restarts by itself and it won’t monitor heart rate

My versa 2 keeps restarting constantly. It’s a never ending cycle. It vibrates to tell me it can’t monitor my heart rate then it shuts off and the Fitbit logo comes up and it restarts endlessly. I have read all the forums for hard and soft re sets. I tried holding the back button for 8 seconds letting off for 2 the. Pressing it again until I feel the long vibrate announcing its re setting. That does not work. It just continues to re start endlessly. This fit bit is not even 5 months old and has always had a case on it. Yes the firm ware is up to date.
