Versa 2's seeming inability to recognize any zone minutes beyond fat burn

Hi. I'm puzzled by my Versa 2's seeming inability to recognise any zone minutes beyond fat burn. Despite pushing myself on walks and during resistance band exercise sessions, I hardly ever see any cardio (or higher). My theory is that the prescription mess I'm on work to keep my heart rate down, so presumably they act as a 'brake' during exercise. Is this just something I'm stuck with?

If you are taking a beta blocker, that definitely does lower heart rate and prevent higher heart rates.  I have never seen any recommendations on how to adjust for that, either from Fitbit or any other literature, other than perhaps to lower your default max heart rate, but that's hard to know unless your have it done at a lab.

Also, heart rate zone calculations have been changed, making them harder to reach for most people.  You can see the heart rate ranges for the zones by tapping Zone Minutes on phone app.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
