After only 2 months my fitbit appears to be broken. Have the Data not cleared. Sync and try again screen.

Watch won't connect to phone. Can't do any re-start actions as I  can only get the screen mentioned above. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Thanks

Paul

Hello there @PaulBxl, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the error you get on your Versa 2. I'll be glad to help you.

The error message you're receiving usually appears when you performed a factory reset without before unpairing the Fitbit. Usually you should unpair/remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth and then perform the factory reset. To solve this issue, try these steps in the following order:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

If you can't get started with your Versa, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
