Hi there, @Joee8888. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling. Please note there's no way to roll back the firmware update on your watch.
Regarding the battery life, as you may know, it should last up to 6 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.
That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face (changing the clock face will also help with the screen issue) to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here. You can also check What are some tips for charging my Fitbit device?
Hope that helps.

@MarreFitbit do you notice a pattern going on? There's an issue with the firmware. Do you have any contacts with the development team? This needs to be escalated.

I too have the same screen problem. Unresponsive after update no left and right or up and down. I tried to reinstall the firmware but no correction.

I, too, am having significant battery issues with my Versa 2 after the update. I have turned off most functions, uninstalled almost all the apps, and still the battery is draining ridiculously fast. It was at 63% yesterday evening and died at midnight, maybe 6 hours later. I charged it to 99% (it never seems to go to 100%) at 8:00 this morning and now it's at 86% at 10:37. I should not have to charge it daily when most features aren't even turned on (not shooting the messenger, just venting my frustration).

Unfortunately, you won't find any support for this issue. They won't even acknowledge the issue or have a developer help trouble shoot the issue. They would rather you buy a new device. The firmware update ruined the health of your battery or there's a bug in the code that's draining the battery. Either way, you are out of luck. If you are in the warranty period, contact support ASAP.

Definitely out of warranty unfortunately. Have had it since December 2019. Have been a loyal Fitbit user since my Charge HR, but thinking it might be time to switch to an Apple Watch.

I bought my wife a versa 2 for Christmas 2 years ago. We won't be sticking with Fitbit. We've had 5 devices all together. Now I think she will buy the Apple watch SE. Might be more money but it's better quality and support.

It's been over 2 weeks with no bug fix. I got tired of waiting, so I went and bought something else.

Right? This whole company is terrible with addressing issues and the canned response from mod/admin is laughable.

Best solution...
Change your clock face...

Having the same issues with my Versa 2 - battery draining quickly (used to be about 4 days, now need to charge twice a day) and intermittently losing the touch/swipe function. Not good enough for a 2-year-old device. Glad to see I'm not alone but very disappointed with Fitbit's response.
Have been a loyal customer (multiple devices over many years) but seems all they are interested in is draining my money as fast as this update is draining my battery. Might be time to move on to the competition...

This was really helpful. I have been having trouble with my Versa 2 for some time. Would not charge beyond 99%, would not clear some text messages. Swipe functions not working all of the time. Battery draining super quick, and having to recharge within 18 hours. Tonight I reset (not a full factory reset, just holding down button for 10 secs), and hello, old messages disappeared, and it charged to 100%. I am now holding my breath to see if this fixes all of the problems.
