Versa 2 screen brightness is very dim

Ok, so I have checked my Do Not Disturb as well as my Sleep Mode settings. Neither are on. I have formatted my watch back to factory settings. I can toggle between the 3 brightness settings but it doesn't change. I've had the watch around a year and a half. Seems like a lot of money to spend on what is now just a bracelet because I can't read the screen unless it's dark. 😒 Any ideas?

Yes, I did contact support on this issue before posting here. I was told to do what I had already done and then emailed with a discount code which doesn't even work on the current sale price. I was going to buy another one at the sale price with the extra discount until I realized it didn't work on the sale price. I already spent $150 on the one on my wrist and I haven't even had it 2 years. I was hoping someone on this forum had maybe had the same issue and had a fix for it before I chose to spend my money elsewhere. I like my fitbit and it works just fine outside of the screen not being bright anymore.
