I’m a long-time customer of Fitbit, and I’ve had several watches. My kids gave me a Versa 2 for Mother’s Day in 2020. In May 2021, the face became unattached from the watch. Fitbit replaced the watch, and I appreciated it. But now it’s happened again, and I am so frustrated. Is there anyway to have it repaired? I doubt Fitbit will replace the watch again. While I wear the watch every day, I’m very careful. If Fitbit cannot help, it may be time to look at an Apple Watch….

Hello @Psant
I’m sure it certainly wouldn’t hurt to contact Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US. I don’t know what response they will offer you but not calling would leave you to just wonder.
😉 I do hope they can sort it out for you

Thank you so much for your kind response. I checked, and I was told that since the device is 13 months old, Fitbit refuses to replace the device. They will only offer a discount to me to purchase another one of their devices. It’s frustrating because my experiences with Fitbit reflect serious problems with their products. I do not see a reason to purchase something that will break. I’ve been loyal to Fitbit for a long time, but this is end for me.

Hi there, @Psant. Welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration. @SunsetRunner Thanks for your help!
Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Your device is out of the warranty period, and therefore is not eligible for repair or replacement, but we want to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.
For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the outcome of your case, please feel free to get back in touch with our Support Team so they can continue assisting you.

Why should I use a discount to purchase a defective device? My experience with Fitbit suggests that your watches persistently break. Explain why this purchase would make more sense than choosing a different product from a different company.
