Versa 2 screen flickering black and white after update

Did the update and my screen started flickering black and white, then won't turn on.

Tried multiple reboots still the same...then it comes back and goes again?

  1. Confirm the steps to restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Change a clock face to Fitbit designed one: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Same here! Day before yesterday it began to  flicker, reboot, till battery died. Next morning charged and it was fine till I put it on my wrist - then it started to flicker agaib and unsuccesful restart sessiod drained battery again 😞 1year old now, hope I still get my money back.

I can't even reset it I can't see the screen to do it now...I've tried many reboots

Great! Thx 🙂 It worked. After charging restarted manually (must say, I falsely assumed it had already restarted itself)! Changed clockface and now I wear it for an hour already without any flicker 🙂

not sure now, how to get oxygen readings without that special clockface.

This is great news and I hope you continue enjoying the Fitbit experience! Since the issue is resolved, you can try changing a clock face again to collect your SpO2 data. fitbit support,and other users 

I too am having issues to email fitbit support to get email back they don't take emails to support now so what the hell am I supposed to do ? Just got a bog standard email saying go on forum 

 
I am writing to you with regards to my fitbit versa 2 which I purchased from yourselves online last October 15th 2020.
 
My versa 2 (I'm extremely annoyed)
 
My versa 2 is faulty firsty the battery completely drained within half a day then within an hour from 100% full battery the  screen now has gone black (which on looking on the support forum is a ongoing problem with versa 2)
I've done all the long restart/factory resets uninstall then reinstall tried changing clockface you name it I've done it but I'm now unable to use the versa 2 as the screen has died completely black no clock face nothing so is completely useless.
 
 
 
This versa 2 is only 10 months old and is still under the 2 year warranty as you can imagine I'd expect the product to last longer than this ! And I'm extremely annoyed that after having a faulty charge 3 to then get offered a discount on the versa 2 and paying out £80 plus pounds that I wouldn't have this problem! 
 
I've just tried charging again and the battery has drained nearly 50 % in 20 minutes which is definitely not normal.
 
I've attached a photo of the confirmation of the versa 2 being sent to me 15/10/20 (last year) 
 
As this product is still in warranty (2 years warranty) I would like a replacement versa 2 I really like the watch and need this to help in my weighloss goals.
 
Can you please look into this please as I now have a versa 2 that is completely useless and also out of pocket of the £80 plus that I paid in October last year please help as I would like to continue with fitbit.
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!
