I've only been wearing my Versa 2 watch for six weeks. A few days ago it stopped syncing and froze. The logo is on the screen but it won't swipe. I've tried holding in the button for 20+ seconds and this just causes the logo to disappear and reappear but it won't turn on. It keeps telling me the battery is flat and so I keep charging it, but the charge doesn't last long. It doesn't buzz/vibrate when I plug it in to the charger.
Basically it's just dead.

I did call customer service and they are shipping me a new watch face. I just need to use the bands from the busted watch.

It's it's too it stop on its own and when I boot it up it was fixed no we will not talk about this topic anymore.
Thanks I like to see this Fitbit community atleast 1 time aweek

I had the same issue as you, I followed the directions and it still showed the logo. Here's how I finally got it working:
I had to do this a few times until it finally vibrated. Once the hard reset finished, I was able to connect using my phone.

Hi,
I'm also facing this issue.
And have tried the factory reset method. It still shows the logo frozen on screen. Please help.

Nothing happens when I hold the back button. Held up to 2 minutes.
Holding all buttons, face goes dark for a minute, then logo is back on face. Let the battery run out. Logo comes back frozen.
I can't get it to work.

I have tried all the suggestions and nothing works. I love my Versa 2. I'm a coach and it has really helped me. until 2 days ago! What should I do?

I first notice the time was wrong... and then everything went down hill from there. So tried everything recommended. First.. checked for update.. said Versa2 has latest update. then tried reset and got the red X tried several times.. finally the Versa 2 synched and got a check mark but stuck on Logo. Also tried to add clock face .. 2 hours later still "loading". Not sure what to do next.. seems like I have already tried recommended fixes. Spent hours already on this. Appreciate any help I can get.. I also went to contact us and there was a message that the phones were down and to try community help.

It worked for me after trying it several times. But I had to reset my watch and delete my device and start from scratch. Pain in the butt. Fitbit is just going from great, to bad, to worse! Now we have to keep resetting, deleting the app and reinstalling the app and so forth to keep it working and connected. It’s become too much of a hassle just to keep this thing connected and running properly. If you go to either Apple or Android app stores there are nearly all one star ratings in recent months about their app and devices. No wonder the Fitbit forum isn’t open to the general public!

I am facing similar issue as well and mine was a replacement so I was not eligible for a replacement and the customer service considered it as defective. it was the first ever update since I got the replacement and its dead now. the latest update got hang half way through and now its stuck at the logo. connected the charger for the whole night and still nothing happen. the replacement unit may be faulty in the first place since it was the first ever update done on it. it was working fine before the latest update.

Thank you for trying to help. Your steps did recover the clock screen, BUT, nothing else on the screen works: I can't scroll down or swipe left. Nothing. Help!

I am having the same issue and cannot get my versa to work. I have held the button released and held again nothing...tried it several times. What should ibdo!?

First never let the battery die.. recharge when it is low. You have already reset so plug in your watch to recharge and use the Fitbit app on android device and just go thru "add a device". Don't worry about syncing it. There is also an upgrade it may need to go through and just breathe . 🙂
