Hi there, @JodyGo. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. I understand how you must be feeling.

As a first approach, please follow @Guy_'s tips and recommendations.

Nevertheless, if your Versa 2 got wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. If your watch has come into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser (like Cetaphil) and dry it with a lint free-cloth. Be sure to follow our Wear and Care instructions to keep your device clean.

Water resistance may diminish over time and can be negatively impacted by any of the following:

  • Dropping the device.
  • Exposing the device to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, perfume, insect repellent, lotions, or sunscreen.
  • Exposing the device to high-velocity water (for example, during water sports).

If the restart doesn't work either and your watch hasn't vibrated for the restart process, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again.

Hi @JodyGo - firstly make sure both are dry then hold the watch button for 10 seconds continuously until it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Then make sure that the watch syncs with the Fitbit app and if necessary change the clock face from the Gallery tile.
