Versa 2 screen is so faint

I purchased my Versa 2 in January of 2021. This morning I found the screen display is so faint I can hardly see it. It won't react to my wrist movement at all, I have to push the button to see the display.

What can I do about it? Is there a "fix"?

Surely it (Versa 2) should last longer than 1 year 5 months and 18 days.

As it stands right now, it is totally useless to me.

Hello @Kathim1

Maybe your screen brightness got altered somehow. Go to your Versa 2 and tap settings then scroll down an tap brightness. You can set it for max if that helps. Other choices are Dim and normal .if this doesn’t help you can try restarting your Fitbit by holding down the button until you see the Fitbit Logo then release the button.

😃Please let me know if this answered your screen issue and helped brighten things up

Hi there, @Kathim1. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. I understand where your concern is coming from. @SunsetRunner Thanks for your help!

As per the description of your post, it seems that your Versa 2 is in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The Always-On Display clock face is turned off.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in the quick settings.

To turn off Sleep Mode, swipe down from the top of your screen. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the quick settings icon. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

That worked!
I really appreciate your help. I've been a FitFit wearer for 10 years now
and I would be lost without it.
Thank you again!
