Versa 2 screen is stuck on a exclamation mark

Fitbit Versa 2 died plugged it in to charge and nothing is happening, I left it for over an hr took it out from charge tried to turn it on and I got a blank screen with a dead battery image and an exclamation mark. I’ve cleaned the charger and back of watch and still nothing after hrs been left charging!

If you haven't done it already, please restart your Fitbit Versa 2 by following these instructions.
