Versa 2 screen is too dim

Hi my Versa 2 has suddenly become dim, unable to read my watch in daylight outside, I have checked the settings and it’s set to normal ( I have changed it to max no difference) sleep mode is off, I have also done a restart. Also I have difficulty in swiping as well. Please help TIA
