I've had my Versa 2 for about a week, and I have it set to turn the screen on from motion and to stay off during sleeping hours. Everything had been going smoothly. Suddenly, last night I noticed it was on in the middle of the night, and when I tried to turn it off with the button it popped right back on again. Then the battery died. I charged it, and then this morning I started to notice that it was on all the time even when I wasn't moving my wrist. I changed the setting to turn on only by the button, but any time there was a notification the screen came back on and stayed on, and then the battery died.
Can anybody help me resolve this? I don't want to have to send it back and go back to my Alta HR.

Always-On Display
(Versa 2 only) | Keep the screen on, even when you’re not interacting with the watch. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device? Note that turning on this feature impacts your watch's battery. When always-on display is turned on, Versa 2 has a battery life of up to 3 days. |

The thing is, I didn't turn on always on when I was having this problem, and I checked in both places multiple times. What I'm trying right now is that I went and turned on always on, but I set it to be off from 12:00am to 11:59pm. I have to turn the screen on with the button, but I'm okay with that. We'll see if the screen stays off or if it takes over again.
Thank you for your response.
