11 hours ago my Versa 2 stopped syncing.   It will not cone on.  I've tried all suggested troubleshooting ideas to no avail.   I've attached what comes up on the screen.

Hello @Barbara13

I moved your post from the Android platform forum to the Versa smartwatch product help forum as it seems your issue is with the device and not the platform.

Hopefully someone here will be able to help you.

HI @Barbara13 - you have probably cleaned the watch and charger contacts, however just in case you had a Versa, make sure you are using the the Versa 2 charger and try connecting to a PC as power source and listen to the connection/disconnection noises which will give some indication as to what is happening.

Also try several charges of 30 minutes and when you don't get that display when pressing the button, try holding the button for a full 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start. There may be enough charge for it to restart and then it might charge normally.

Otherwise the watch probably has a fault and it's worth chatting via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support.

@Barbara13   I have a different perspective on your issue.  That image is the critically low battery display.  You wrote that you tried all the troubleshooting ideas, but I want to emphasize some points.

  • You Versa 2 should vibrate and the screen should change to indicate that it is charging.  Versa 2 manual  -- see image on page 8.  Check closely for the vibration.  The vibration motor strength is reduced to low/light when the battery is critically low.
  • If you haven't cleaned the contacts, then you should.  I clean my device contacts with alcohol and a very soft toothbrush.  Carefully clean the charger contacts with alcohol and a cotton tipped applicator.
  • Inspect the charger contacts and make sure none of the pins are pushed in.  If a pin is pushed in, you must replace the charger.
  • Try a different power source.  There is no specific reason to use a PC power source.
  • You don't need to wait 30 minutes to check the charge.  If your Fitbit is charging, you can tap the screen twice at any time to monitor your progress.
  • Restarting a Fitbit takes battery power.  I haven't used a Versa 2 in a while, but I typically see a 2-3% drop if I need to restart my Sense 2.
