Versa 2 screen won't react to touch and it is stuck on logo

My Versa 2 starting acting wonky this morning. Ever since I've been having issues with it. I had it charging overnight so I disconnected it from the charger and put it on to tend to a few household chores. I noticed it wasn't counting my steps at all. It was displaying zero. At some point, it stopped displaying the home screen of the time and other metrics and just had the logo displayed. I have rebooted the watch, I have disconnected it from bluetooth, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app on my iPhone, but nothing is working. When I reboot by pressing and holding the left-side button, it does disappear and then reappear within 5-8 seconds, but then nothing else...still only displays the logo screen. The logo does disappear and reappear (like a steady flash on and off) on its own as it just sits on my desk. I can't do any of the other troubleshooting that I've read on this forum.  It is unresponsive as in no way to swipe or change the screen from the logo.  What's wrong with it?!!
