Versa 2 screen won't respond as it should

My Fitbit Versa 2 will barely work the screen I tap it and tap it and tap it and it takes like 25 times and when I put it on the charger it doesn't always work granted I've had it for a while but like everything is still like new on it

As a first approach, please follow @Guy_'s advice. Also, please restart your Versa 2 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi @Ashleymfdrew  - press and hold the button to get to Quick Settings and make sure the icons are set correctly because it shouldn't be necessary to tap it.

 

If you have turned on sleep or turned off wrist wake you will need to double tap it or push the button to wake the display.
