Versa 2 screen won't show anything else but the time

My time only lights up all the while instead of turning off. Why is this

Hi @Charles4charlie - you have probably enabled Always On.

Long press the button (or pull down on the watch face and then again) and tap on the 2 white bars to get to Quick Settings and turn it off.

Hi there, @Charles4charlie. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Versa 2. We're here to help!

As @Guy_ has suggested, please check if your Versa 2 is on "Always-On" as this feature will only show you the time on the main screen all the time, unless you press the button of your watch to see other features and stats. If Always-On is enabled, to exit this mode, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?
