Versa 2 screen won't turn on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Yesterday morning I woke up to my fit bit not turning on.  I put it on the charger for an hour and nothing.  I proceeded to hold the button down for 10 seconds and still nothing.  I got no email from Fitbit saying my Versa 2 was low on battery.  What am I either not doing right or what have a done wrong.

I only gets wet once a week when I clean it or by chance forget to take it off when I give my child a shower.

Thank you!

Hi @jamiemc_42, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I would like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it won't turn on or take a charge. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if your watch vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains the restart process but you can skip it and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your Versa 2 for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

My Versa 2 started acting similarly today.  It was fine earlier today and then it wouldn't light up.  It "seemed" to be running during that time.  If I held the button, it would vibrate, display the "timer" icon and then just sit there.  (I have Timer set as the button shortcut.)  If I placed it on the charger, it displayed the battery % quickly and then switched to a blank screen with just a corner battery icon. It WOULD sync with the app on my phone.  It just wouldn't display anything other than that Timer icon.  Then, suddenly, it was working again.  Very unsettling, but glad it "recovered."  Maybe the sync with the phone???
