Versa 2 screen won't turn on

My versa 2 screen just died. I tried clicking the button to turn it on but it won't. I tired plugging it in thinking maybe it was dead but the screen still remains black and all the lights on the back are off as well. According to my app the last time my versa synced to the app was less then 2 hours ago and it said the battery was at 96% so it's not dead... Has anyone else experienced this? I tried pushing the button several times and just holding it in for 20 second and nothing happens at all.

Hi there, @Bloem @Cahoon. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your watches before reaching out.

Please confirm that you've tried restarting your watch as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

If the above didn't do any change, the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

Mine did the same thing as yours did yesterday. I live chatted with a support person and they said they would send me an email and get me to a higher up consultant. This person couldn’t help me over the live chat. I have no email yet. I did everything the lady said to do and it didn’t work!!
disgusted to say the least!!

My watch started having screen issues after a recent update. Then on top of that, the battery started draining at a rapid speed.  It used to last 2 days.  Then it went down to 8 hours, then 4 hours and now even with a full charge the screen only shows a very faint blue square where a screen should be.  I have tried every tip and trick and it is just dead.  Zapped, ruined by an upgrade. And all they want to do is issue a small percentage off a new watch.  Hard pass!  With the new apple watch 7 out, I'm finally switching.  My fitbit didn't even last 2 years and if you read the thousands of comments, everyone started having all these issues after an update.  Basically, fitbit ruined our watches.  This was my second fitbit.  But for them to handle a mistake of theirs like they have, I wont return as a customer.

Good luck with your watch....
