Versa 2 - seriously overestimating steps after 4.1?

I wear versa2 on one wrist and another tracker from [proper fitness company] on the other hand. Been doing so for months, step count was pretty much spot on on both devices.

After 4.1 versa2 started to deviate about 30% - 40% up - right now i have almost 6k steps on versa2 wrist and 3.5 on the other one. Which is strange.

It doesn't matter what other device i'm wearing - it's either, lets call it, vivaclever 4 or boenix 5, they don't really differ that much between them step-wise.

Anyone else with established step patterns observed this behaviour?

Forsrt thought would be to wear both trackers on the same arm. The arms work independently and should affect the tracker differently.

So it was working fine pre-update, and then after update my arms suddenly started to be wildly different? Especially seen as I switch wrists every now and then and the pattern is same, fitbit is over by 30-40%?

And if I replace Versa2 with Charge3 which i do every now and then - my arms suddenly same again and steps on devices match?

Interesting theory, but would benefit from some serious explaining 🙂
