My versa 2 showed names for a couple of days but now it shows only 'phone' instead of the actual caller id....is there any solution?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using with your Versa 2? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Do you experience this issue with every call notification you receive or just sometimes? In the meantime I receive your answers, please check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to properly receive notifications on your Versa 2 are correctly configured.
After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Thanks for sharing such details with me. As it turns out, the Samsung Galaxy A50 isn't listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience some connection difficulties with it and all your Versa 2 features. That being said, can you please try with a compatible device instead so we can determine if the compatibility concern is the root cause of your notifications concern?
