I had versa 2 for a birthday last February. After about 4 months the clock started to loose time. Returned it and it was replaced with a new one. 6 months later it happened again this time it corrected it self in the morning but lost time again in the afternoon. Tried to sync all I get on the phone is data not cleared sync and try again.

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2.

Please note that the error message you're receiving on your Versa 2's screen ("Data not cleared, Sync & Tried and again") usually appears when you've performed a factory reset without first unpairing the watch. With that being said, please try the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and and from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

If your watch keeps losing time, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
