I was trying to sync my Versa 2 when the red X appeared. The fitbit won't reset and I can't access it through the app. Please help.

Hi @Cjlarose, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 shows a red X on the display. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if you have tried resetting your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, try setting up your watch from scratch as instructed in this help page and see if the red X disappears.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I've tried both. Neither work. Both times the versa 2 displays the red x.

When I tried to reinstall it in the fitbit app, it doesn't even get past
starting a Wi-Fi connection.

@Cjlarose I've got the exact same issue, and from what I've seen on the community posts, a few others do too.

@JuanJoFitbit is there a fix for this? Is there a way to hard reset the device without having to interface through the app or watch touchscreen? You'd think these things would have a reset button that could be pressed using a pin....
