Versa 2 shows a red exclamation point and won’t restart

The screen displays large red exclamation point but won’t restart. When I went to sleep I still had about 46% battery and I thought maybe by charging it a little it would work but that hasn’t changed anything. No idea what is going on.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Versa 2 displays a large red exclamation point and won't restart. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. It's possible to see the red exclamation point when there is a firmware update available, but your watch has less than 50% of battery charge. I recommend confirming if there is an update available by following the steps from this help article: How do I update my Fitbit device?
