I have had my versa for a couple of years. Latterly I noticed it would randomly drop my HR to 40s (while active) and then go back to normal. I verified these reading are wrong with another HR monitor. It scared me at first. My HR reading also disappears more often than usual (it just shows - -). Any clue what is the issue? Is it the latest update? I have gotten it wet quote a few time. Is it done? 😞

Hi @Runaholic, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the inaccurate heart rate data that your Versa 2 is providing.
In order to fix this issue, please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your heart rate.
Finally, monitor your watch during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
