Versa 2 shows incorrect time due to time zone change

The time on the fit bit is showing the wrong time due to a change in time zones. All other info syncs with the app. Checked the wifi connection and did an update on the app.

There is a known fault with the Fitbit App where Automatic time zone isn't recognised properly.

A workaround which may help is to turn Automatic time zone off, sync and turn it back on and sync.

You may also have to clear the Fitbit App cache and Force stop it on Android in the phone App settings.

Also it may take several attempts before its sorted.

I had same problem.  I had tried something similar to your suggestion recently without success, but it worked this time.  Thanks!  I'll be traveling to another time zone at the end of the month and it's great to know that I will likely be able to fix it if it happens again.  Dalona

I don't know where to find "automatic time zones".  I'm using an iPhone. I have tried looking on the phone and also on the computer. I'm not as tech savvy as some younger people apparently. Help!

@jackye  - in the Fitbit App click on the profile photo [top left], then app settings. It should be the first one.

If I remember correctly, go to the settings tab on your dashboard (I went to the computer to do this).  Scroll down the settings and you will reach time zone.  Select the correct time zone and sync your fitbit on the computer instead of the phone .
I earlier tried to update the time zone and sync the Versa 2 on my phone and the time did not change, but when I did both actions on the computer it worked.
Good luck to you!
