Versa 2 shows random numbers and won't update

I have a versa 2 and recently it has shown no trans and a bunch of random numbers when I pull down the front screen. And it will not connect to allow me to do an update on it. How do I fix this?

Yes no transmission. And then is showing a bunch of random numbers
