I purchased a Versa 2 special edition from amazon last week, solely for the sleep tracker as its supposed to be one of the best on the market . Yet I’m finding it ridiculously inaccurate! It’s saying I’m asleep when I am awake, it’s even saying I’m in REM or deep sleep when I am in fact completely awake! For over £180 I’m really cross with this product not working properly! I’ve updated to the latest version of the app. I’m on iOS 13.3.1
is there anything I can do to fix this issue and make it more accurate or do I need to send it back for a refund? I’m not a very well off person, £180 is a lot of money for me so i expect a product to actually do what it’s supposed to for that price! Any advice is appreciated thank you

Hi @JacRock123, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 sleep tracking is not accurate since it tracks sleep when you are awake. I totally understand how you feel about this.
Please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. Also, check out this help page which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your sleep. Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Same issue with my Versa 2. I was wide awake and moving at 4 am and even had my arm up in front of my face looking at it at 4am and it shows that I was in REM from 3:37am to 4:11. I was wide awake that entire time. I have sleep issues so this is very frustrating for me to not get accurate sleep readings

Hi @Treehoo, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not tracking your sleep data accurately either. I definitely know how frustrating this is for you.
If you haven't done so, please try the troubleshooting steps that I shared in my previous post in order to fix the sleep tracking accuracy. After trying those steps, monitor your watch and see if it tracks your sleep data accurately.
Let me know how it goes.
