Versa 2 stopped responding to swipes/taps, now won't turn on

Hi,

 

Last week I found that my Versa 2 was no longer responding to my swipes and taps. I worked with their support team and I couldn't even do a factory reset because the watch won't let me tap the screen to do it. I've had the watch for a year and a half so it is outside of warranty. They offered me a discount on buying a new watch, but I don't want to spend that much money, twice, on a product that only lasts a year or two. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it possible it's just a Versa 2 glitch? Wondering if other styles of fitbits work better. 

 

Now starting yesterday the watch won't even show anything. It either is off and won't respond or has a bright yellow/green screen. Feeling pretty frustrated because overall I really have liked the product and the premium services. It's helped me stay connected with my family who also own fitbits.

I'm having the same problem too. It started yesterday mid-exercise. If I find a solution I'll let you know.

I got mine for Christmas from my son's and it is also very slow to respond or non-responsive. Is this an issue with the watch, can I return it for another?

I've had mine for maybe two months and I'm having this same issue. It went black and wont start up at all with taps or the side button. I don't know what to do and definitely won't be buying another.

Same issue same length time. Now have a red cross on my screen as tried factory reset and now can't since as that what told me to do. Frustrated.
