Versa 2 stopped tracking my AZM

For four days now, my Versa 2 has refused to log any active zone minutes even though I am sure I've had several minutes those days due to workouts and brisk walks, as I have for the past 2 years since I've bought the product. For some unexplained reason, it stopped.

I've already tried turning it off and on again, tried giving it a full charge, wiped the sensor clean and looked if there were any firmware updates but everything is fine.

I cannot link it to an event either, as it was working fine one day, and then no longer the next.

Please assist

Hi there, @Ayame__. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

It seems like the heart rate might not be getting accurate readings, therefore, it won't provide you with AZM. With that being said, I'd recommend trying the following steps to make sure your heart rate is working:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your watch. To switch the heart rate settings on your watch, from the main screen of your watch, swipe left until you see "Settings", next swipe up until you see "Heart Rate" and switch it to Off.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Versa 2. To do so, open the Fitbit app, tap on the Account icon, tap on your Versa 2's image and tap on "Sync Now"
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your watch once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your watch once again.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible) We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

Test your Versa 2 the next couple of days to see if it starts providing you with your AZM.

Thanks! I had indeed noticed the green light no longer flickered at the bottom of the watch and my heart rate readings were gone as well. Your solution fixed it!

Unfortunately, it seems to have only worked for a day. This morning it hadn't logged any of my nightly heart rates and when I went for my daily jog, no heart rate nor active minutes show. When I turn the watch over, I can no longer see the green led light at the bottom flashing (where I normally would see it when turned over). I have tried all your steps again, but to no avail. Could it be that a faulty light is the issue?
