My Versa 2 stopped tracking my heart rate activity while I sleep back on Friday night, Friday I didn’t even get a sleep score and now only the heart rate doesn’t track, I have tried rebooting my Versa 2 numerous times and it still doesn’t work, my Versa 2 and my Fitbit app are all up to date, anyone else having this issue?

I just went through support chat. They gave me the option of a replacement or half off a different watch. No questions about how old my watch is, just wanted to know what I have done to troubleshoot. They seemed most interested in if I had factory reset properly. I opted for a replacement instead of a new model.

So they are not able to fix it?.

No offer to fix it, replacement or half off a new one. BTW, my heart rate stops shortly after noon on 3-28-2021. I had worked out just before that and then it just drops off. If it weren't for all of you having issues at the same time I would have thought it was something I did.

I agree! I don't know that I want to buy another one and that is the only option I have.

Anyone have any suggestions on another brand that is good? I'm not thinking another Fitbit is a good idea!

I am having the same issues with several premium features not working. It’s been 3 weeks now and supposedly they are working on an “app” fix. Customer support told me yesterday after an hour on the phone with two different CSReps that it’s not the actual Fitbit watch but their app. Very frustrating to say the least!

Same issue here. Everything is working minus the resting heart rate during the sleep tab. Very frustrating since I pay for this extra feature. I will try to reboot tonight.

Okay I’m super frustrated because obviously this is an issue of built-in obsolescence (they make them so they break and you are forced to buy a new one). I did every possible fix they offered, then was told I’m out of warranty so I can have 35% off a new one... I’m beyond irritated that this is clearly not a device-specific issue and that Fitbit (which normally has excellent customer service) is just gaslighting us all

This is how I feel. And same thing happening to me. I received 35% off and feel it is not acceptable. I would keep my Fitbit for years if it worked properly. Plus I bought the premium membership and can't use it now. I bought it thru Google Play and can't get my $ back. Didn't Google buy Fitbit? Argh. Don't like the direction Fitbit is going. Not impressed and extremely frustrated. This is not a one off issue. Why would I want to buy another one when these watches are only built to last just past the warranty.

Strange. I was told - not fixable, out of warranty, have to buy a new one. 🙄

That's what they are telling me...not able to fix

I sent an email back to the Fitbit Support Team. I'm awaiting a response. I reached out to both chat support and Twitter support and they both told me that they can't do anything and to email a reply back to the offer I received. That was yesterday and I haven't heard back yet.

Yup pisses me off that heart rate monitor stopped working and sleep tracking too since the update and my Fitbit is not that old. I used to love my Fitbit but not right now cause I need it to track when my heart rate drops and now it’s useless.

Have tried factory reset twice and still doesn’t work. I’m thinking their recent update screwed it up. They probably won’t fix it in order to get people to upgrade which is bull**ahem** if you’ve only had it for less than 2 yrs.
