My Versa 2 stopped tracking my heart rate activity while I sleep back on Friday night, Friday I didn’t even get a sleep score and now only the heart rate doesn’t track, I have tried rebooting my Versa 2 numerous times and it still doesn’t work, my Versa 2 and my Fitbit app are all up to date, anyone else having this issue?

I got this message from another user.  The notorious fitbit heart rate sensors.  Did you know that 80% of the issues reported are in regards to heart rate sensor failing? Because Fitbit has poor quality control testing their heart rate sensors. On rare occasions, a factory reset does revive the fitbit but the life expectancy of their watches seems be on average of 10 months.  I suggest looking at other brands. I loved the fitbit brand and I wanted to like it. I had a versa 2 and versa 3. All failed..... I have now moved on to other product lines that are not fitbit. So if this replacement acts up again. I said screw it and bought an Apple Watch because I have everything apple. It’s no cheaper in price. Same prices actually so I won’t lose much. It’s a bummer. I been with Fitbit for three years almost four. Never had any issues ever till this week. Good luck to you guys!

It’s a Versa 2. It’s over a year. So a new one won’t be bad and the prices are around the same so I found a new brand. It’s a shame.

I want to clarify for everyone that BOTH of my versa 2 fitbits, one on each arm, have been recording heart rate correctly for 10 months. It is only the GRAPH in the RESTORATION section that is sometimes not displayed. The heart rate graph in the DAILY section has been consistently displayed for EVERY day. This indicates that the heart rate hardware on my wrists has always been working properly. It’s only the graph shown inside the fitbit APP that’s been an issue, and this graph has only dissapeared in the restoration section when the APP has been revised - V3.30 worked fine, 3.40 has not.

Update:

Well after running the most recent update my HR tracked correctly for one day, I got all of my missing graphs and now I have no sleep score at all, I also slept for over 9 hours (woot woot) but it says that it couldn’t track enough data. This is so frustrating. This was how the issue first started. At this rate I am expecting no sleep score or HR to track going forward 😢

Fitbit.com is down for maintenance.  Just tried signing in on my Kindle.  Perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel. Sent from my Galaxy

I contacted Fitbit and They wanted to give me a coupon to get a new Fitbit because of their mistake and updates. It was only a year old (thought it was 2) I bought a new Apple Watch for $50 more then the new Fitbit. It has WAY more options, sounds, you can respond to messages and talk to Siri, way more setting options too, better faces you won’t have to pay for, more tracking and apps, it all around does WAY more then Fitbit. It was worth the $50 switch. SO worth it! I feel Fitbit wants us to update our watches instead of helping fix the problem. Lost Fitbit gained loads with Apple Watch! SWITCH!!!

Same thing is happening to my Versa 2. Only had it for about 1year nd that's disappointing that there product only lasted that little time. The he monitor green light doesn't even turn on since like 2 weeks ago.

Frustrating.

Yep! Especially if Fitbits are gonna need replacing every year, the cost ends up being WAY more than an Apple watch. Apple stuff lasts forever. I can still use a 20yo Apple laptop for word processing, I have an iPhone 5 that still works perfectly. The only reason I even get newer iPhones is because my phone plan includes them. Their response to this has been garbage.

Me and my wife are having issues also.

ME:  Green light is no longer on AND, no sleep tracking

Wife:  Heart rate is not tracking....  But her light is working.

We BOTH have, re-installed the app, hard reset of the watches, etc.....

NEED HELP from FITBIT.

I think it may be an update issue.

Me too. For the last seven days the sleep and heart rate are not working. Have you receive any answer from Fitbit?

No they just try to give me a discount. It's crazy I rebooted my fitbit a
few times. It works for a minute and freezes again. This is since the
update they had. Hope it works for you .

No. They will offer a paltry discount towards a new Fitbit.  That's all. No help, no customer service,  they do not care!
