Recently, my Versa 2 randomly stopped tracking my sleep data and my heart rate. I have followed all of the steps in the previius forum posts. I have consulted the web, performed a factory reset, deleted & reinstalled the app…no change. Everything else works fine. I’m trying to avoid switching to an Apple watch but the 2 main features I need no longer work. Very disappointing…

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling.
Have you checked the heart rate settings as suggested by @JohnnyRow?
I'd recommend trying the following steps to make sure your heart rate is working:
Bear in mind that if your heart rate is not working, your sleep stages won't too as this data is calculated by your heart rate readings.
@sezeller Welcome on board! Thanks for trying to restart your Fitbit device already. Nice way to go!
To better assist you, would you mind sharing with me what you mean by way off? Is your Fitbit device tracking your sleep times inaccurately or is not tracking your sleep at all? Meanwhile, I suggest checking Why don't I see sleep stages today?

Go to Settings and make sure Heart Rate is not turned off there. If heart rate is off, many other measurements depend on that.

recently my sleep tracking has been way off, I am wondering if my recent issue is similar to yours. I tried to reset etc but it is persistant.

I've done all these suggestions and the green light still won't come back on. Any other suggestions?

I am experiencing the same issue, as are many others if you read these boards.
After two calls to Fitbit customer service, I was essentially told that I was out of luck, since my watch was out of warranty. I have a fundamental problem with a company rolling out and pushing a firmware update that renders the watch non-operational, then telling me that there is nothing that they can do. This is nothing short of sabotage/forced obsolescence. Fitbit should be ashamed of themselves. This was my third Fitbit watch. Since Fitbit is unwilling to make good for their error, I will be looking toward other brands.

Has anyone found a resolution? I have also followed all steps listed by the Fitbit moderator on this post and others on the topic and am having no luck. I have not had heart rate data or sleep data since 12/1 however my steps are still tracking.

There will be no resolution. This is planned absolescence.
My resolution was to give up on the Fitbit and buy a Samsung Watch 5. After this experience Fitbit will not get another penny from me.

Hi @MarreFitbit I'm having the same issue with my fitbit, and I just followed your advice, but the problem didn't get solved. My tracker is still not "tracking". Is there a place that I could send it for inspection and possible fix?!
