Lately my versa 2 has been acting up. No heart rate, and no blinking lights in the back. I remember seeing lights blinking. Is something wrong with it?

Hi there I too have the same issue as op, I've tried your advise I e even done a full factory reset but I still have no flashing lights and no heart rate displayed.
My Versa 2 has worked perfectly since purchase but this function from the app failed on Tuesday afternoon and nothing I can do to resolve it.
Any other advice would be great.

Reading another post about checking to see if the app is upto date I see that my app update less than 12hrs before my HR monitor stopped working coincidence ?

Just by chance I've kept playing with the watch and this seems to have worked for me
1 Go to settings and turn the hr Off.
2 Go to settings then about and force shutdown.
3 Restart the watch
4 At this point the green light was on for me but no HR reading.
5 Go to settings now and turn HR back on
my watch is no fully working
P.s I've tried loads of things from full factory reset to the turn HR off and sync method written above by Marrefitbit.
But this is what finally worked for me and hopefully for others.
Craig
Update this lasted all of a week unfortunately and since haven't been able to get the hr function to work at all 🥺

Hi Maria, i tried what you described and still nothing. Also tried what Wardy suggested and still nothing. No lights, no rate, b just a ❤️ symbol. I have yet to factory reset it. Not sure if I should yet. I think it's a hardware issue.

My watch even suffer from sudden Vibration + restart many times. I think it's time for a HW error and replacing a new brand lol

Dear @MarreFitbit,
I've perform your instruction above and nothing get done, the green light just flash for a while and my watch keep restarting again and again (about 2 or 3 times). Fortunately, my Versa2 is still alive, except for HEART RATE function.
Furthermore, i also perform a factory reset but the problem cant be solved at all. Anyway, many thanks. From Vietnam with love ❤️

Me 2, i have been given a case number. Now fitbit is checking on warranty but it's been a week almost. Kind of don't want to waite any more.

So after almost 1 month of my fitbit not functioning properly, and about 1 week of waiting for customer service to get back to me I called them today. After going through the troubleshooting again, they told me that warranty would get back to me. They did. They said after 13 months my warranty is over. So they gave me a 35% discount on a new fitbit. I said ok, i can handle that, even though after all the sales are over the discount is more like 15%. But after reading the stipulation, it said it couldn't be applied to the Sense or versa 3. Huge bummer. How do you expect to keep a fit bit customer/consumer when your watch only worked for 13 months, warranty is only good for the first 12 months, and then you give me a discount that can only be applied to older fitbits? Very dissatisfied, disappointed and quiet frankly looking into other smart watches. I don't need a discount to buy a $180 fitbit! A discount could have been ok of used on any fitbit that I wanted to purchase, not only on a versa 2.

And now they dont want to support us anymore. My Versa 2 just get a new incredible ERROR: cant get GPS data from my Pixel phone when i do exercise with my bike. What a stupid watch!! It's still 3 months to expired warranty date @MarreFitbit @LiliyaFitbit

Since when I sent an email to fit bit explaining the useless discount, still no response. Very dissapointed. @MarreFitbit
