Hi Fitbit people,
My 2 yr old Fitbit versa 2 stopped recording hr and various other functions all of a sudden last week. I’ve tried every fix out there and nothing works. Strange thing is that intermittently, if I press on the back of the Fitbit the green light come on for a few seconds and then disappears.
I see dozens of complaints out there about fitbits with a faulty hr monitor, what is the company doing about it?
So frustrating.

Hi @Setanta227 @NeeNeeV82 - unfortunately it can be a watch fault, possibly from getting wet, and if so make sure to stop charging if it gets hot.
If you have toggled the heart rate off/on in the watch settings and restarted the watch and synced without HR working then there remains a factory reset to try but it's not without risk, make sure to leave it 5 minutes once started before setting it up again.
If you are still under warranty it can be replaced or you may receive a small discount on other more expensive watches which don't have all the features your watch has.
You can always chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support.

I’m having the same problem too. Nothing seems to work and it’s really upsetting because I love my Fitbit
