Versa 2 stopped tracking my sleep

All of the sudden my Versa 2 stoped tracking my sleep. The last day it was tracked was 4/29. I have checked a few discussion and tried deleting my app and downloading it again and restarting my Fitbit but nothing works. Why did this feature all of the sudden stop working?

Thank you,

John

Hello there @Shauna96, welcome on board. If you're also not receiving your sleep data, as a first approach I'd like you to please confirm that the heart rate settings on your watch is "On". On your device, open the Settings app Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting On.

On the other hand, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Hi there @Jrflat, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Versa 2 no longer registering your sleep. I appreciate you've taken the time to try fixing this issue prior to posting here.

I've seen that you contacted our Support Team days after you posted here with regards to your heart rate not working what turned out in affecting your sleep data too. I'm glad to hear they helped you to get back on track.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we may do for you.
