My Versa 2 stopped tracking my sleep last night. I have no idea why. Can anyone help?

I pulled out my husbands old Versa 2 which he never wears anymore and synced it to my phone and updated it. It's working fine and seems to track everything correctly. The green lights are on the back and I have a heartbeat again. This makes no sense - if it were a software issue then both watches should behave the same. They're identical except for the color. What the heck did Fitbit do??? Still won't be repurchasing from Fitbit but at least I can delay buying a new tracker now.

As for sleep tracking do you wear your versa 2 when you’re sleeping?

Everyone, don’t bother contacting as suggested. They’re going to give you the “troubleshooting” steps even though they know nearly ALL the devices are no longer working. I was given a 35% discount to purchase another device. I will not be accepting that; I will be purchasing a device from another company who will offer real solutions when all of their products are suddenly faulty.

Exact same problems, sleep went weeks ago and heart rate stopped today 👎

I have same problem too. It started at February 10 and I thought I started to sleep somehow bad, because it first looked like I was wearing them wrong or something, but no. Then I upgraded to the premium and it stopped completely tracking my sleep. Other things working but sleeping no. Restarting wasn't helpful at all.

I'm in the same position. I've reset everything, to no avail. Customer services just took me through all the troubleshooting, which I've already done. Very frustrating!

Have the same issue. My Versa has seen better days so I thought it was the device and time for an update.Ordered a Google pixel watch, and that device was tracking my heart rate and I was able to see that on the Google heart rate time on the watch, but I couldn't see it on the Fitbit tile on my watch. So it just wasn't writing the data to the Fitbit app. It's something to do with devices communicating and writing to the app. And like everyone here said, Fitbit support was unhelpful. I'm returning the pixel watch because not spending more money with Fitbit for stuff that doesn't work. I'm with others here, after 10 years going to use a different tracker and a different program.
