I restarted it, charged it. Nothing. It won’t hook up to my phone, only shows a black screen, once in a great while will show a brief something and then disappear. I barely swam with it and did not go deep at all. I took it off once I realized it was on. It’s been like this for two weeks now. I thought if I would give it time, it would go back to normal. I just bought it in December.

Hi @Cassidy17 - the seals on some watches are not so robust and water got in.
The good news is it is under warranty and can be replaced.

Hello there, @Cassidy17. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2 and taking the time to troubleshoot it before reaching out.
If your watch got wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. If your watch has come into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser (like Cetaphil) and dry it with a lint free-cloth. Be sure to follow our Wear and Care instructions to keep your device clean.
Water resistance may diminish over time and can be negatively impacted by any of the following:
If your watch is still not responding after taking the above into consideration, as @Guy_ has suggested, the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

Yes the same thing happened to me after just 2 swims, I even rinsed and dried it after the swims, just go on line and ask for a new one. It seems it’s a common occurrence.
