I wore mymt versa 2 swimming last week, it was a shallow pool fir my daughter's swimming lesson. Since then it won't turn on. Ive trying charging it and have held the button down for a while and it still won't work.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi there, @Bellap77. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Versa 2 is still not responding despite the steps you've already tried. I'll do my best to get you back on track.
If your device got wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. On the other hand, if your device has come into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser and dry it with a lint free-cloth.
If you've done the above but to no avail, may I know if your Versa 2 vibrated during the restart process? If it didn't, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

Hi @Bellap77 - if your watch suddenly stops working after getting wet it's indicative of a fault, if subsequently it won't charge this is a further indication.
If while charging it gets hot stop immediately.
Depending on your country warranty period the original watch may still be under warranty and can be repaced but the replacement in November 2022 doesn't extend the original warranty as far as now.
You can always chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support for further clarification.
Note newer models don't have all the features your watch has, so do research before you buy.
