Hi there, @Helenjay. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2.
If your watch got wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. If your watch has come into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser (like Cetaphil) and dry it with a lint free-cloth. Be sure to follow our Wear and Care instructions to keep your device clean.

HI @Helenjay - The best thing to do is not charge it and to check for condensation in the back windows of the watch with a magnifying glass. It is relatively common for water to get in, if the watch comes into hot water or detergents over time, this increases the risk.
If you lie it on it's button side in a warm dry environment for about a week it may dry out. Then once there is no condensation you can try and charge it as long as it doesn't get hot, it may recover a bit but can never get wet again. You may suffer short battery life.
