My versa will not turn on after swimming. It kept flickering on and off and vibrating. It's been about 3 hours, it's been charged and no matter how long I hold the side button is just a black screen. Very frustrating since it's advertised as swim friendly.

Hi @Lkgoehring - unfortunately water may have got in. Often it will get hot when charging and if so stop immediately as the internal damage is severe.
You can try drying it out in a bag of rice for some days but if it does recover it is unlikely to work properly.
If it is under warranty get it replaced.

That's so frustrating because it's marketed as safe for swimming. I don't believe it is under warranty.

@Lkgoehring- you can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support, they can check your warranty.
If you need to replace and go with Fitbit don't be tempted to move to more recent watches which are not compatible with what you are used to and are more expensive and some don't have the features you have.
Also make a note of the names of your clocks and apps from the Gallery tile.

Hi there, @Lkgoehring. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.
Please note Versa 2 is water-ressistant to 50 meters. However, water resistance may diminish over time and can be negatively impacted by any of the following:
If your watch got wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. If your watch has come into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser (like Cetaphil) and dry it with a lint free-cloth. Be sure to follow our Wear and Care instructions to keep your device clean.
If after trying the above you keep seeing the Fitbit log, please try the following:
If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
If your watch is still not responding after taking the above into consideration, please follow @Guy_'s advice and chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...
