I washed my hand and dried them and my Versa 2 stopped working. I have never taken a shower in it, washed dishes in it or went swimming with it on. I am so upset because according the product description It shouldn't have happened.

Hi there @lashonda, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 stopped working after washing your hands, I understand where your concern is coming from and why you're feeling upset. I'll be glad to help you.

To solve the issue, I'd recommend restarting your Versa 2 by following these steps: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't seem to work, I'd like to ask if your Versa 2 vibrates when you connect it to the charger? Do you still see the green lights flashing on the back? If your watch is not responding to anything, please follow the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
